I did something I haven't done in a decade. Used a white towel.

I got out of the shower and forgot old #42 my towel. So I used the "Guest towel" that has been hanging here since our house stopped renting rooms.
All the guest stuff is still there waiting for them. We don't touch it, especially the white towels. This time I could.

I haven't had any reason to be a clown for a long time. From every day clownistry to not at all. I could never use white towels without staining them. I always had residual paint no matter how much I scrubbed. I assumed I would have permanently green eyelids for life.
To my surprise it only took a couple weeks to vanish.
That says a lot about the healthy makeup Olive gets us. It's mostly made of food.
In a way, this is the first vacation we ever had.
The longest we have ever gone without being "on."
It's kind of cool.

Media disinformation in Portland. Summer protest 2020

I feel kind of bad when friends from out of town are freaking out.
"On the news we saw a map of your neighborhood on fire."
and I say "Kinda, I been smoking weed all day. Sorry, I'll go inside."
Some of the news are selling drama, others an agenda but both are not giving people a fair shake.
This Pamplin map is Crrrrrrap.

Side effect of the Trump Troops:flaming awnings. Last night my boy and I were watching the democracy fights downtown. We watched until the last camera guy got hit.
One thing we noticed.
When the fed attack the people they shoot a lot of flaming projectiles.
As soon as the camera looks behind we noticed awnings on fire.
All those flaming rounds are randomly burning the city up. We were very impressed by the bravery of a lot of our Portland citizens who did everything they could to rebuke them. Interesting that all those "arsons" on the map match the parts of town where the cops have been firing flaming rounds at people for over a month.

Portland is a town that has been fighting corrupt presidents for decades.

That's why it's called "Little Beruit". BLM protests in Portland are juxtaposed over a battle that has already been raging since the early 90's.
BLM marches still happen in dignified ways all over town.
They never make the news.
The fed buiding is where the Trump troops are and they really made everything worse.
They attracted every angry bee in the region.

day trip to Portland under siege

I feel kind of bad when friends from out of town are freaking out. "On the news we saw a map of your neighborhood on fire." and I say "Kinda, I been smoking weed all day. Sorry, I'll go inside."

The "snatch squads" out grabbing people reminded me of this action 20 years ago.

I don't know what's worse, being "disappeared" by Blackwater ops today or smalltown cops back then. The Clown House had an unintentional secret weapon. On this night more than half the Clown House was apprehended but only a couple were kept very long. By co-incidence several clowns were also tree sitters. The kind that sit in ancient trees, drinking creek water and fighting lumberjacks and forest service cops. That means riotcops had a 4 in 8 chance of nabbing someone in clown drag who was also pouring diarrhea down their legs. Not an ideal situation for a squad car. The ones who were busted were the folks cornered in the loading dock. The Clown House lived on for 7 more years but it almost ended this night.

My son went with Olive on bikes last night to deliver masks.

He got a huge disappointment. As they rode they noticed lots of businesses open, packed and everyone uncovered. He and O are cycling in d.i.y. hazmet suits. It's sad for him to see how little people care for each other. My boy wants to go to school at some point but he lives in the most entitled country on the globe. If you are doing what is right THANK YOU!

my venn

History, Biology, Carny tricks and Civics. That's my venn Yo. Those are 4 things I have been studying for most of my conscious life. I studied useful life stuff too like guitar, relationships, day jobs, moderation. but for those I mostly just thumbed thru the manual. My life's true fascinations are with the infinitely big and infinitely small world that is running concurrent with ours. History, biology, carny tricks and civics, those be the regular pillars of inquiry for me. Back in the day I used to use an analog data-bank called The Library. No matter what parts of the country I was in I always had my working studies and personal quests for knowledge. I was hoping to someday eventually be a wizard or a clown, or a wizard clown. ..or a marine biologist with delusions of grandeur. :) These days H.B.C.C. have collided. I'm %100 in my element but it's so big I don't always know how to react in that measured way public figures are required to. HBCC is kind of a big deal. Historic archetypes have emerged, A sub-microscopic infectious agent is mutating our species, Lots of tricks, logical fallacies, photoshops, fake news, incomplete graphs and conspiracies have mutated our species and last, people are actually out in the streets performing their duty of civic engagement. Pretty crazee. It's a terrifying and interesting time to be alive. More terrifying and less interesting would be if we were in one of those agrarian ages where it was hundreds of years of nothing but farming.
