I just saw a local "middle-aged, goth-kid,thruple" walk by. They were uncharacteristically cheerful.
In fact the sun is out and they aren't under the black parasol. Then it struck me.
There's a plague on.
It's like their Christmas.
This is what they have been training for.
Good for them.
I told them "Happy Holidays"
They didn't respond.
