Are you the same Dingo from the Clown House?

We spent some hours last evening in the booth doing the Blooming Universe show on the KBOO FM radio. It was a blast gassing with Kieth and listening to all his neat music. Olive was delightful and a good time was had by all.

Thanks to the folks who called in to the ask a street clown bit.
I had a wonderful blast from the past. First a caller asked "Are you the same Dingo from the Clown House?" Yes I am, then he hung up. Next caller was his Friend John Averill founder of March Fourth Marching band. The first guy looked me up and had John call back. John and I had a lovely catch up session with Portland listening.
We both kind of had the same sentiment "Dude...You're still alive and still yourself YES!!!!!"We used to mix it up a lot together back in the zerozees.\ Then Keith played the M4 record that mentions us (Fat Alberta), The shift went by way too fast. We said goodbye to Portland and pretty soon we were back on the street outside KBOO radio. Two clowns in the early morning Ptown streets, ambling home and watching the city wake up before we crashed hard. lol

The other day we were riding late at night and noticed traffic on the freeway backed up to a stop.

Olive tried waving at drivers to dissuade them from going on the blocked freeway but she just looked like a crazy clown.

We decided to find out what the snag was (because we are nosy and wanted a useless mission to accomplish).
We went to several bridges and couldn't find what was up. Then we found it. A few vehicles crashed. The collision threw a few cars over the cement divider and into the opposite lane. It was gnarly.
As we stood there watching (an admiring) the city trucks dealing with the situation, others joined us from the shadows.

A couple of porcupines (Punk rock tagger kids) and a couple of nurses from the nearby hospital. It looked funny. Nurses, clowns and punks in the dark watching the automotive version of a train wreck.
It was a trip seeing the damage on top of the barrier. Someone did a rail slide with a car.
Another night in the life of Portland clowns. :)

I love Portland free boxes. So much of the coolest stuff I ever brought home came from random boxes of stuff people put out. Today I found t...
