The other day we were riding late at night and noticed traffic on the freeway backed up to a stop.

Olive tried waving at drivers to dissuade them from going on the blocked freeway but she just looked like a crazy clown.

We decided to find out what the snag was (because we are nosy and wanted a useless mission to accomplish).
We went to several bridges and couldn't find what was up. Then we found it. A few vehicles crashed. The collision threw a few cars over the cement divider and into the opposite lane. It was gnarly.
As we stood there watching (an admiring) the city trucks dealing with the situation, others joined us from the shadows.

A couple of porcupines (Punk rock tagger kids) and a couple of nurses from the nearby hospital. It looked funny. Nurses, clowns and punks in the dark watching the automotive version of a train wreck.
It was a trip seeing the damage on top of the barrier. Someone did a rail slide with a car.
Another night in the life of Portland clowns. :)
