Microwaves in the caves.

Humans are evolved for neolithic conditions (we are still cave people physically, emotionally and mentally) we follow the strongest sounding person (with the easiest answers) We fear ostracization from the group (allergic to loneliness, symptoms include severe "eaten by hyena" reactions) We are preoccupied by sex, fat, sugar, war, salt, gossip and are easily angered by groups or individuals who are different. (we also use parenthesis too much).
Humankind has reached great levels of understanding but seem to be too immature as a species to improve and evolve. Instead we are bloating and regressing into a post literate mess.
The smartest and brightest, the honorable and wise don't get to guide the tribe because most are still following the loud troglodyte who beats his chest, denies science, confirms conspiracy theories and eventually robs everyone's children for generations. #goodtimes
I know they used to teach a class called civics. Is there a free school that teaches that? Post-literate Merikins can get through a bumper sticker but I see them falling for huge manipulations and logical fallacies quite a bit.
I'm a carny who promised a Navy guy that I would look after the country so naturally these deceptions piss me off.
Let's strive to edjamacate everybody!
We look like rubes over here.
Folks aren't stupid but they can be misled with trickery. Let's make that more difficult. How about a class that everyone can take about rhetoric? Logos, pathos, (and what's the other one?) ethos.
Just knowing if someone is trying to persuade using emotion (fear/pity) logic (facts) or an authoritative knowledge of the subject can do a lot for understanding.
Good luck out there.
That's all I got. Coffee worn off.
Rant out. Have a good day fellow cavers. :)

Sorry I forgot your birthday song.
