Yesterday was a rollercoaster.

Yesterday was a rollercoaster. We were riding a lot building our strength back after recovering from injuries. Rootbeer is a clown goddess in the sun, so fun to ride with. We giggled a lot until we arrived upon a grizzy car wreck. In our years we have arrived at a lot of hidious scenes just after they happened. Lots of people die in Portland because people blow thru intersections far too fast. At the scene a lady recognised us and wanted to share warm fuzzies. She stopped after noticing we weren't in the mood at the moment (Rain check on that Mrs. Rando) Later we dumpster dived a derby hat, wrote a new bit, made a bunch of kids cheer and laugh then interviewed a family who are getting grief from the city for feeding needy people in their yard everyday. Got home with sore muscles and some sadness after seeing the car crash. Olive said "You have 45 min. to pick up our kid... Let's paint eachother's naughty bits up real quick ok?"

She sure knows how to cheer me up. I love deadlines!
Thats why 20 min. before picking my kid up from school my junk was dripping with green acrylic paint. I painted her chesticles and we hugged a canvas using one another as the paintbrush. We then rushed to the shower and ended up kissing. She was lovingly looking at me in the eyes when her face changed to concern. She asked if i was alright. "Your lips are turning blue...can you breathe ok?" She thought i was having a bad reaction. "Hon, it's your blue lipstick. I always get blue when you makeout with me." We laughed. I flew out of the shower without drying off and managed to get to my son's school in time to pick him up. He asked what I had been up to all day. "Nothing much my boy, how about you?"

Our friend was just coming out of a theater after seeing IT

Our friend was just coming out of a theater after seeing IT with a date. when they just happened to run into some real clowns. We were hunting but not horror style. Olive decided to make them some flash clown horror themed balloon corsages. We had a lovely time chatting on the corner before disappearing into the night.

melon

My boy was impressed I got this melon home on my tallbike without tying it down. That wouldda sucked if it fell off." he said.

I disagreed. That course of events would not suck for me. I would be delightfully entertained unlike he and Olive who would be the pins in that bowling alley.
I wasn't worried. Olive moves like a cat on her tallbike and he can use the tallbike training anyhow. My boy has gotten really good with the big bike this Summer.

One day on the tillicum bridge

As they watched us approach, they had time to huddled up, have a discussion, form a task force and then send a delegate to ask us an important question. :"Excuse me. How do you stop?"
We hear that question all day. Sometimes it's really charming.
Instead of the standard "gracefully" line we decided to give them a slo-mo-demo with bubbles.
It went over great, diplomacy was had and Dad even had some sound advice for me as we left. "Don't fall off the bridge!"
 I won't Sir. I won't.

friends from the land of the rising sun.

Our house rents out rooms.
By some interesting coincidence, last night both rooms were rented by early 30 somethings from The land of the rising sun. Japan.
It was our great honor to show them our life and ask about theirs.

This morning we made them coffee and showed them how to ride our tallbikes.

Oops layed it down.

This dude was a natural.
Nice day for a ride.

My bike takes a pic every 5 seconds so I got a lot of pics. This post is for them to choose what pics they want.

That was fun. Now to show them my office.

yes, my office is a cardboard box. They thought that was a riot.

He is asking "Is...that Marijuana?"
Calls his lady and friend.
They watched me roll a doobie. They politley applauded when I was done. I said "American origami"

I never mention people's names when I talk about them. If anything they do in our country gets them into trouble in their country, I don't want it to be because I gave up their names. "Security culture" is international.
They didn't want any but they were facinated watching and photographing me smoke a joint by myself. That works for me.

We will miss these nice folks. I wish we all lived closer.

If this guy lived here I would want to ride with him all the time. He was good and confident.

Good times.
We collected more Japanese language and three new friends this morning.
That was great. It's so sad to see one of them go.
We get to keep the other two a few more days. I hope they are having a great honeymoon here in the states.
Like what we do? Wanna pitch into our clownery or catch the next show?
