Well...

KEN LAY IS DEAD.....YAAAAAY!
But don't put on your grave dancin shoes too fast,
If being a fool has taught me anything, it's that the
only way to fake your death and get away with it, is to
both have a lot of money, and be a sneaky rat fink.
It also won't hurt to be friends with a corrupt president
and it's a motivating factor that you will be sentenced
to prison very soon.
I really hope that he commited suicide with the plan to
save his family's fortune, but creeps like this don't do
brave things and even a faked death will save the family's
stolen farm.

back to the fun

MUD Wrasslin Pit of Doom!

4th

Fourth of July. To me it's not much of a big deal, besides the current meaning of our country: a fanatical, fundamentalist corporate beast who actually use the term “Islamo-facists” for the other fundamentalist bigots they love to hate. I wonder if they also say “amish-wiskey” or “mexi-tater-tots”.
They set up “Free speech zones,” far from the action, behind fences. And of course “Gitmo,” the no-legal-representation camp in sunny Cuba.
I hope the current administration eventually gets to see prison. The news is coming out about just how much cheating was done in the last election. It was so obvious, I have no idea why the other guy didn't call foul. maybe he was in on the scam too.
Even back in the day, the fourth of July wasn't a freakin' picnic (pardon the pun). The revolution that spawned our nation was bankrolled by was bankrolled people who OWNED people, and were also employed in exterminating other people.
What a crock of bull puckey. I can only wonder what the planet would look like if the first illegal immigrants to this country had decided to “Go Native,” and get some ideas from the soon-to-be-poxed tribes who didn't have the best Homeland security.
I'm going to enjoy the day off, and try not to get shot off my tall bike by stray or aimed fireworks.I call it "SCUD NIGHT" I ride down the dark, smokey streets on tall bike and look at the array of unguided missles flying all over the place. Sometimes the kids see me approaching and it's a cue for them to aim at me and let Hong Kong's finest blow me into next Sunday, but kids with supervision usually stop and cheer!

Merry Fourth!

Lynn is here!

Our ex roomie Lynn just got in from Georga YAY! I love when people who moved out are still in our lives, the family is getting bigger.
She had left her motor bike here and was having trouble getting it started again, it took me 10 min.s and I had it running, the secret; I pretended I wAS stealing it.
I told her not to tell antone that I worked on a motor vehicle.
I used to be a repo man in Texas many moons ago and before that I was car thief so I do know a thing or two about getting vehicles running in a hurry. That was a long time ago and since then I quit both stealing and fossil fuels.

Last night as I was comming home from work I noticed an orange glow is someones yard, as I got closer I realized that it was the kind of fire that won't come from lamps or fireworks, that was a brush fire.
As I got closer the fire kicked into gear and grew as tall as the three story house ot was in front of.
It was in the bushes next to the house and slowly creeping to the corners.
I dropped my bike and ran through the fire and onto the front door and started knocking like mad, this was at about 3:00 am.
It took the people a long time to roust, eventually after both ringing the bell and constant yelling and knocking I saw two feet clumsily tripping over a baby fence and stumbling down the stairs, They could see the blaze from the top floor window so they knew what was up.
The lady and her kiddo got out and called the fire department.
Everyone was safe so I went home expecting to hear sirens but the deal is, the fire crews were super busy and I never did hear any sirens so maybe the house burned to the ground I havent checked.
My theory is that someone drove by and tossed a firework out the wondow and into the dry shrubbery that came off the house.
When I got home I noticed that with all the exitement, I really didn't feel anything.
I'm around fire a lot so it's nothing to jump into a fire, now if I had saved them from a Sasquach or a gang of frothy Neo-con, chicken hawk, Republicans, then it would have exited me.It could have been worse

I woke up feeling cRuMmY!

Exept for the two hours or so after I get home from work and the few hours of doing circus practice or shows, it's like I'm always either asleep or at work, life has lost meaning so much that I no longer need to know what day it is because they are all the same. At work I'm doing dishes and cleaning up puke and at home same thing.
Caffo has it much worse as she never gets more than a few hours of sleep in a row ever, it sucks.
But my mom called today from Texas and I felt better, she was in the hill country driving a truck home for someone and I would have felt homesick (that's my favorite part of Texas and my favorite Texan, bet you can guess who my least favorite Texan is) but I didn't Portland is my home, but talking to my mom sure was cool.
Speaking of puke, why is it that when some kid turns 21 they gotta go into my bar and order a Long Island Ice Tea? They do this a lot.
I guess it's the only drink they know, I advise against it.
This kid came in, ordered a Long Island and a burger, ate enough of the burger to allow me time to show up, clock in and then he puked all over the fossil bar.
I cleaned it up right in front of him and asked him how he was doing.
He looked at me with that "feel sorry for me because I'm drunk look" and said "I'll be alright" in a weak voice.
I smiled and in my best game show host voice said "No you will not sir, I know a thing or two about the G.I. tract and you my messy friend, will be a lot worse before you are better."
They called him a cab.
As soon as I put all the bio stuff away a loud gasp and splash could be herd, I looked at the bar manager and she said "That kid just puked again didn't he'.
I said "Yes he did'.
He dumped puke on the floor and gave the lady sitting next to him a refreshing puke mist across her back peppered with bacon cheese burger and 5 kinds of booze.
An older man from down the bar got up and the look on his face told me that he may not know how to relate to the kids of today but he sure knows how to sober them up.
He told the kid to get his stuff and that he would give the kid a ride home.
The kid told him a cab was comming but the old man insisted, the kid thanked him by puking again on the mans shoe and dry heaving as the old saint dragged him out the door. The lady that got misted was ok and said "We all go through it."
I know cleaning puke for a living sounds fun but the reality is it's not, I'm just good at making the best of bad situations. I do Love my job at Concordia Ale House (200 beers, full bar, lots of good eats and friendly staff 33d and Killingsworth) but my motto is: "Fire your boss! work for yourself"
A single guy can live on a circus workers pay but a big bunch of dependants require a lot more, I'm working on it.

And now an unrelated link

Of course it's not a hyper link because I'm an idiot but the guy has some cool footage of stuff around Portland and our bike scene.Cut and paste.

Anybody know how to tell Linux to do stuff?
I don't know how to tell this thing to create Hyperlinks.
I don't know how to tell this thing to post a photo.
I was mad at my computer for not knowing how to "work and understand my s*it" when it's actually MY job to know ITS sh*t.

I love Portland free boxes. So much of the coolest stuff I ever brought home came from random boxes of stuff people put out. Today I found t...
