balloonz procurement

Operation "Balloons procure" went well today. We rode down to Lippman's.
We were surprised they saw us coming and opened the doors so we could bring our bikes in. The balloon supply is very spare, the industry was hit hard by Covid 19.
The good news is they have white balloons. We didn't expect to get them in for a month.Soon as we got in there Olive had a wardrobe malfunction with her top.
She asked me to fix it. I tied the ends together like shoelaces. That was a wrong answer.
We finally got her and the balloons together and took off. Our bikes took all these photos randomly. Olive was delighted to find so many of the shots were of her upside down cleavage "I love Underboob!" Me too Olive. She kept most of those pics for her own social media. We had to get home fast because balloons degrade in the heat. Soon as we got home we had to get Olive ready to be her other character the Berry girl. She took off and I just showed my teen and his BF how to roast a chicken. It was indeed a swell day in Ptown.

slide ride 10 am every Monday at Creston park

House hunting fun.

Riding our bikes Olive jumped down to write down the number of an apt rental. Meantime one neighbor was taking the trash out and the other walking a dog. Olive asked me the street number. I rode down to see but misjudged how far the corner was. She yelled a few times "What street is this?" The two potential neighbors only spoke to each other. Olive ran to the other corner to get the number. We wrote all the info down and then deposited our paper directly into the recycling bin. We can afford to be wanted (so can you)

snailgate

Hitchhiker. Today we delivered a Happygram from a Grand Mother to say "Welcome home" to her Daughter and family after they moved into their first home that they are buying rather than renting.

We decided to stay longer and the family asked if they could invite neighbor kids over for a balloons.Heck yeah! Everyone was enjoying each other. We were singing and dancing and cracking the jokes. At some point I put my guitar Trigger down to be hands-free-funny. When I picked it up moments later I found this huge snail had rolled up on me. I named it "Squatter." I thought these things were supposed to be slow. This was really fast. glad it wasn't a leach.

I soon realized I didn't know how to extract the beast from my ax. I love problems i never encountered before. I asked for some water and then poked the monster. It still wouldn't budge. I dug in a little harder and squeamishly squeegeed this living booger off Trigger and went on with the show. Hope you have a happy life Squatter!

We were just phone auditioning for a low cost child custody lawyer. It went well.

At first it was me on the phone. I was nervous and awkwardly giving one or two word answers. Olive frantically scribbled notes for me to read. She has detailed answers AND numbers, dates and receipts. My low-fi rendition of events was driving her crazy. Soon my answers would continue after I finished in a woman's voice until Olive had to introduce herself. Moments later she walked off with the phone both of them busily chatting. Those two smartphones made me feel like a floppy disk. Just that call gave us most of the info we need. We still are going to have another chat soon.

🙂 Our son is happy we made progress.
For some reason he really wants to be our full time kid.

gift at the gig

Gift from an admirer. Someone in a booth across the way seemed to like Olive's style. During our show They made her a stunning plastic bracelet. We could tell theirs was the most interesting tent at the fest. Eventually her new friend bashfully approached. Olive was presented with a present Adorbs!
