Roofing. I have done a lot of roofing in my life.

Started as a teen doing commercial roofing with family in Texas. I roofed endless catacombs of 'partments, residential jobs, a church. I roofed with shingles, hot mops all the hits.
I roofed a barn in Minnesota by myself and even did roofing here in Ptown with my toddler daughter in a papoose (hard times I was working off rent).
These days I always look up at the roofers to see what the state of the art is in this century.
Boy has it come a long way. They now have a piece of technology we had but never used in the 90's.
It's called "a rope that ties your ass to the roof so you don't fall" I think that's the tech name for that. A.R.T.T.Y.A.T.T.R.S.Y.D.F. is the acronym.
Saw some guys tethered to a roof and I was so happy for them. Why did that never come up?
I have been on some perilous roofs, running around, carrying things, hammering with teams that defiantly don't provide health care. I never fell, never saw anyone else fall.
The worst I saw was sever sunburn, tar burn and the worst was a bundles of clay shingles or 3 tab falling on people.
So well done Roofing for incorporating A.R.T.T.Y.A.T.T.R.S.Y.D.F. into the system.
