We got gifted a bottle of local wine today. We met Carl who is a wine maker here in the PNW. He was offering taste tests of various wines near where we were busking today. I tried a couple of them. Very strong and very flavorful. His knowledge of wine went into ancient history (my territory) and I suggested we do a podcast where I interview him about his wines and the history of wine making in the Willamette valley. I'm on the wagon so I can only taste but I can talk about this stuff all day. Those tastes pack a wallop.
