landscaping...

Financially speaking; my shows are pretty successful...I have never made this much money clowning.
I worked hard, was ruthless when I had to be and surrounded myself with sober, talented, creative people and now it,s sweet to be me.
BUT!
I also have two kids rent, mine and Olive's rent and a circus beast to feed.
So I work a lot of odd jobs, cottage industry and swindles.
This week has me landscaping...uggg!
The Dante's show was amazing (Thanks to Ringmaster Noah M.) and they signed us up for 4 more shows in July (applause)that's great, usually a band or bands have to pay the venue and sell tickets.
We are on the other side of that table in that the venue pay the circus boss (Noah)and he pays us.
Not a bad deal but the thing is the next four shows aren't until July.
Until then I'm supplementing my coffers by working with an amazing man...Andy Tambellini

Those of you who know me well know that I am not a fan of landscaping...the effort, expense and chemicals involved are such a waste of time to me.
nothing pisses me off like a loud, lawnmower or weed whacker belching out poison smoke and throwing up tons of debris.
If people grew food in that space we could shut down the super markets and all food would be organic. Lawns are a lie!
All a manicured lawn is to me is a clear spot for the dog ta crap but i gotta make a livin right!

The thing is, Andy is a real genuine man...I get a lot out of just being in the truck with him talking.
He is never too far for me to bike to the jobs and his customers get along great with him.
His Wisconsin accent puts people at ease and the man always goes well beyond the call of duty for his customers. Andy often throws in free work just because it needs to be done...I'm so cool with that!
Thats the way I like to live and work too Andy, Great Job sir!


Now don't get me wrong folks, you need some landscaping...like,
High bushes near windows are a security hazzard, a person can break into your house with the cover of foliage.
Also high grass and shrubbery are a place where fleas and rats can hide, ifyou don't want bugs or rodents in your house, it's good to keep the high stuff away from your doors.


Andy soon realized that I was plenty unhappy dealing with anything requiring fossil fuels. I loved that he didn't fire me even though I bitched the whole time about George Bush, Murder, Saudis, and the oil cartel.

So to keep the peace he lets me be in charge of hand tools!
I love hand tools...in fact, I have been known to ask strangers if I can help them shovel out trucks or dig holes.
Andy is the man...call us!
