open mic tonight

No pressure, super fun Open Mic show hosted by Portland's Dingo Dizmal formerly of the Alberta Street Clown House.
.New in town? Come on down! All kinds of Portland people turn out: students, artisans, housewives, the guy who reads the news...traveling rock stars living out of vans.
It's become quite the event in the passed years drawing large crowds and no one gets turned away for having no money. we also run contests and do circus stunts.
Muddy Waters Coffee house is at 29th and Belmont SE.
It is a worker owned coffee shop serving food, friends, coffee drinks and (YAY!) cheep beer!
Many collaborative teams have met at the Thursday open mics and you never know what part of Portland Color you may find yourself standing next to.
A line forms for the list at 6 and usually gets filled up by 6:15.
Open Mic is not judged for content or style but time is the important part.
Artists get 10 min. or three songs (acoustic low tech a plus!). And we love poetry, stand up comedy, singer song writers, actors, dancers and all forms are welcome.
