Too many acts to mention but they were all great...we all agreed that the talent was really on and a wonerful thing happens here.
Geoff played the song "Bohemian Rhapsody" from Queen and the crowd boisterously sang most of it with him.
"Trouble" the chicken comes out to raise hen...I can tell I was working alone...the head was not secured on...the crowd didn't mind one bit.
Last year I conjured and prayed for a gig that all the others would branch off of...boy did that ever happen, the crowds from other two open mics I was hosting all started coming to the one on Thursday leaving the other venues high and dry....sorry y'all, I tried.
last week I was working on a music video with a guy I met my first day at Muddy Waters.
It's called "Don't pull out yer tubes" it was written by a guy who is a nurse.
Kieth is a medical professional who has music as a hobby...too shy for the open stage I suggested he do video so he and his friend have put together three disgusting songs about things they see every day.
In the "D.P.O.Y.T." vid, I'm a clown who wrecks a tall bike, gets hurt, during treatment I get a look at the cost mounting and pull the tubes out of my mouth nose and groin...then the chorus
"Don't pull out your tubes...it will really hurt you!"
