baggage removal

while doing laundry, I noticed a garment that was with me during sadder and sicker times.
And so now it represents a nauseating feeling of a time that's long past.
Portland is a wealthy city let me tell ya...I can find several suits of clothing and maybe even a full set of furniture just laying around in the streets and on bus stops.
It stands to reason that I don't need to keep any clothing for lack of money or free boxes.
After I threw the garment in the trash I couldn't walk away...shizzle!
I was torn, one side of me is hard wired not to throw useful things in the trash.
Part of me is afraid some one WILL pick it up and inherit it's wealth of drama karma.
To me it was like leaving a loaded gun without so much as a warning or safety button.
I went and ate without washing my hands after petting a stray cat ( I think better while doing stunts) and found a solution!
I did a cleansing ritual!
I found another garment that was from the same time period but not worn by me.
As luck would have it, my kid was privy to some Sprockettes free boxage and thats how I got the cleansing garment.
I took a garment that I enjoyed for a long time but had reached it's end...and tightly tied it around the other thing and yelled at it for a bit.
I marched the whole mess out to the dumpster and buried it in cat litter!
DONE!
I know it sounds crazy but I feel a LOT better.
I think that when life throws the really bad stuff at you, DITCH the clothing you were wearing at the time.
Ya don't have to buy anything, just pick up another garment that represents a new beginning or healing journey.
Maybe I'll find my fortune inventing a karmic clothes washer.
You plug it into your belly button!
