snow day, stalemate and the shark effect

What a wonderland to wake up to.
My beloved Portland covered in snow!
Olive and I made a date to sit at Safeway (39th and Powell) to watch the snowy intersection bustle with bad drivers.
So far I have seen one wreck and one drunk hit by some grand parents.
I was delivering some honey, holding my old lady's hand and drinking coffee all at the same time, what a circus act.
It's the goth boots I got, they look stupid (as clown shoes should) but they are non slip and warm with lots of leg support.

I couldn't help Caff move, cant hire a truck...but on the awesome side, the landlord is just as delayed...STALEMATE!
OH, OLIVE...
Olive and I have been teaching and learning a lot from each other, we are into our romance very DEEPLY!
Skye Blue Sprawls calls it "The Shark Effect" and she is right, I'm older than Olive so other men my age hear about us they stupidly decide she is "into" older men .
Same happens to me, when young gals see us loving, they think I'm good to go; they put their hands on me and make lots of indecent proposals as soon as she leaves.
I went to her work two nights in a row and poured water on a few of the fires that bug her, she thanked me and she is going to go to more gigs with me.
I got to watch the fantasy those guys were having about my old lady RUINED HAHAHA!
I was able to pin point the moment one particular man's mind went from staring at her with hooded eyes, to shock (her kissing me), to not tipping her.
The ironic twist is that I bet what we do just waking up in the morning goes beyond anything they can imagine.
She isn't into older men, I'm not into younger women...we are just into living and loving life together...we are mates... and if we like any one else...they know it.
