Muddy's Thursday open mic night is not to be missed. This place has really great prices, $1 beers, $1 coffee (if you bring your own mug), and they are transforming into an employee-owned co-op!
The coffee is descent, the breakfast sandwiches are DOPE! Definitely drop into this place when you're around, it's open until 10p, and there's usually lots of folks in there at all hours. A great place to feel comfortable, regardless of your style. Say hi to the barista, and don't assume you're "not cool enough" to go here as another reviewer mentioned -- talk to the folks and they will welcome you into the community.
